Why it is so rewarding and comforting to scatter your loved ones ashes at sea

Saying that final goodbye can be one of the hardest moments within the process of grieving. For many this is a very important time, some call call this moment “moving on” or “letting go”.

For most people it is an appropriate time to also experience something good, wholesome & natural. Where there is something reassuring about sharing the natural environment, in which you have just said your final goodbyes to a loved one.

Our fully licensed and very experienced skipper will ask whether you have any preferred location or preferences in which to scatter the ashes, or if you are unsure he will suggest possible, popular sites for you to consider.

There are cheaper alternatives out there, however we put extra time into our ashes at sea, to make sure it’s a very memorable event.

Number of passengers

We can carry a maximum of 3 passengers onboard and you must be 18 years of age, or older, unless accompanies by an adult.

We will provide every passenger with a life jacket. A full safety briefing will be given before we embark so that everyone is comfortable in the knowledge that you’ll be well looked after.

What to bring

Please dress appropriately and consider bringing an extra jumper or jacket as it can be chilly out at sea. We can provide water proof clothing on request.
